Personal:

I grew up on a small farm in southeastern Idaho where I caught the entrepreneurship bug at an early age.  My parents owned a crop-dusting/aviation business which they mostly ran out of their home and I remember spending many hours helping out in various ways from answering the phone, to driving a 2 ton gas truck out to the boondocks so that the aircraft could refuel.


I have owned my own business since 1991 and have experienced the highs and lows of being a business owner.  I like to say that owning your own business is like raising another child.  It’s a 24/7 endeavor, with lots of sleepless nights, and worries.  But if you hang in there for the long run, follow your heart, and love it with all you’ve got, it’s going to end up making you proud.I’m a summa cum laude graduate of Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Communications. 

I have been in the insurance and financial services industry for since 1998, and I love what I do. 


My passion is helping business owners and families prepare and plan their best life!!

 
I moved to Arizona from the beautiful Oregon Coast,  “Just so I could dry out,” and 9 years later it’s still my home.  I am happily married to my husband Mike, who plays in his own band.  I’m also the proud parent of 3 sons, Jamin 15, Chaz, 13, and Tad 11, as well as two stepdaughters Kimberly and Kathy, their husbands, and four adorable grandchildren. 

In my spare time, I love to listen to audio books, go geocaching, hike, and travel.
